The NAPKEN?

I’m Rob Tanguay, born and raised in Enfield, CT.

My background isn’t traditional, but it’s built for this. I started in carpentry, moved into sign work, and learned how to bring ideas to life by building them, installing them, and designing them from the ground up. Over the years, I’ve worked in sign shops, freelanced, studied digital effects at D.A.V.E. School in Orlando, designed sculptures for LEGO, and picked up skills in fabrication, film, and 3D along the way.

All of that shaped The NAPKEN. The name comes from those quick ideas that hit you when all you’ve got is a napkin and a spark. "Ken" means understanding, and that’s what drives everything here — knowing the idea, knowing the audience, and knowing how to make it land.

I work with both businesses and individuals. Logos, signage, packaging, 3D visuals — it’s all under one roof, built from experience, and driven by clarity and love of the craft.
